1st Haircut!

So Bailey and I finally decided it was time to cut B's hair. We went Tuesday and he did AMAZING! We went to a place called Cartoon Cuts which caters to kids specifically. Each stylist has a little TV booth, so they can watch cartoons & that helped him sit still. He even let them trim up his sideburns and neck with the electric trimmer...such a big boy! :)

Before...

He looked SO cute in the chair...it was precious!

First few cuts

He kept making this face...haha..

SO handsome!

We let him celebrate by having a lollipop and an apple-juice slush for being such a big boy!

So now my little baby boy looks like a little man and I have to say...a VERY cute and handsome little man!! :)

4th of July & Museum

We spent the 4th in Round Rock visiting my family and had a great time. We went to the water park, ate a lot of good food and watched the fireworks from my parents front lawn. Lindsay took a lot of great pics, but I was only able to download a few of them our comp because it is all messed up. Hopefully, I will have more to share a bit later....

I didn't make us all wear red/white/blue...*gasp*

We have spent this week sleeping and enjoying lazy days in because of the rain. Brayden has also perfected the art of taking off his shorts/pants and then his diaper too- what an exhibitionist!:)

I also think I am about ready to cut his hair.....I know....it's crazy, but last night as I was playing with his hair I realized just how LONG it is when it isn't all curls and it looked....ratty. I really do hope I have a girl one day and she ends up with hair like Brayden's because I have to say that he has the prettiest hair ever. The curls are just perfect! Now that I am ready to chop it off, Bailey is not...so we will see when I actually get around to chopping it all off.

The other week we went to the Children's Museum because it is free on Thursday nights and B had the best time. He found a little girl, Paige, he liked and followed her around the whole night....

Showing Paige how to turn on the lights

This was his favorite ramp...I think he ran up and down it 100 times

Teaching B how to drive

'Look Mom- Paige wants a ride'

He had so much and it was so funny to watch all these kids 'try' to share and take turns...haha!

We have a busy week coming up...Kelsey's going away party & Carleigh's 4th birthday. Theeen next week is our 3rd anniversary-woo hoo! I think we are also going to try to plan a day to the beach with Brayden- should be fun! :)

Jack-Jack

So I was in the middle of working on a blog, when Brayden started screaming from his bed, so we went downstairs to watch some TV and cuddle for a bit & then I saw it...the video that would completely show you what my summer has been like for the past 2 weeks...

And of course Brayden laughed and talked/schemed with Jack-Jack during it...haha! Sooo yeah- Brayden is alllll over the place(climbing on anything possible like kitchen tables, chairs..etc) and I am physically drained by the end of day. He is still super cute and sweet, but tiring...whew. The newest words to come to his vocabulary are 'juice, book, ball, bubble, bath, 'no, no' with a shake of the head too!:) He is growing crazy fast and learning new things each day.

We tried out a new church today and when we picked him up from the nursery we were told, 'He is the most active little boy!' I tried to warn them when we dropped him off and listed on the 'special concerns' that he was 'very active' and they cheerfully told me , 'oh we love that!'...haha! Apparently, he climbed ON TOP of the play house instead of going through the doors...ahh geez!

Oh and Bailey installed 'rain gutter' bookshelves in B's room. They are FANTASTIC...

We LOVE them and B can see what book he wants to read and pull it off the shelf himself(as you can see-ha!). His Ja-ja got him a car bean bag and so we are making that his reading area. I think I want to get a few more bean bags, so me & Bailey can sit with him too. They were SUPER easy & cheap to make....LOVE them.

Annnd a VERY special Happy Father's Day to my hubby! Bailey, you are an amazing dad and Brayden & I are so lucky to have you in our lives! Love you so so so much!:)

Brayden meeting Elmo...I think he loves him as much as he loves us-maybe more..ha!:)

I really wish I would have gotten more of Elmo in the pic, but we were kind of crashing a random kids birthday to get the pic, so I was trying to be fast. As soon as B saw him he took off for him saying 'Melmo' and pointing and then gave him the biggest smile when we finally made it over.

So our summer is off to a great start. We moved, went swimming, celebrated Ethan's 7th birthday and Molly getting baptized. Then next weekend is Sammy's 1st Birthday!:) Aaannnd even though B is a mess and alll over the place I am enjoying my time off with him very very much!:)
