Here it goes..

Let's back track about 4 months ago to February 5. Brayden came on his exact due date and I had a freakishly fast labor. First contraction was at 7:31 am(or at least the first one I felt) and at 9:01 am Brayden was here. Everything went great and we were so happy to have our little man here.

We got home and my mom stayed with us for a week. The routine of having a new baby got better and easier as each day passed. We quickly settled into our new little family. Brayden was growing so fast and I had to go back to work after 6 weeks, but I found the worlds best sitter, Mrs. Sandy, to keep him.

Now here we are and Brayden is still doing good. He has acid reflux, but the doctor says he is doing great and he 'should'grow out of the GER when he is sitting up better and eating solids. We started giving him rice cereal a few weeks ago, but it has been really watered down and it wasn't until the other night when we finally made it thicker that he started to enjoy it. Infact, he liked it so much he wanted to feed himself and it went everywhere. I think it is time to get the highchair out.

Now Brayden is trying to get up on all fours and move around. He is growing increasingly frustrated with not being able to move. He trys to get up on his knees and then takes a nosedive into the blanket. However, this method does allow him to move a few inches and he is very proud of himself when he sees that he has moved!

Some other things Brayden is doing:
- jumping like crazy in the laps of people who are holding him(he thinks laps are his jumperoo)
- rolling from back to tummy and tummy to back
- smiling and laughing
- cooing and making 'razz' noises
- screaming/squealing
- grabbing whatever is in arms reach
- putting everything into his mouth

This summer we just plan to hang around the apt and enjoy Brayden. Bailey is taking 12 hours this summer and I will just enjoy being a stay at home mom until August. We are going to Round Rock for the 4th of July. Other than that, nothing else is planned.

That is all for now- check back often for updates!:)
